Top family-run small and fine hotel. Super friendly, very good and delicious food. Ideally located. Close to the center (approx 400m) and yet very quiet. Absolute recommendation with a view of the Zugspitze

Not price value proportional. Relatively expensive, however, is not fine. The view, however, is beautiful.

From the greeting from the kitchen to the side salad to the main course, a poem. And absolutely inexpensive! Also one of the few restaurants in Grainau with vegetarian options. Few, but very good. Highly recommended.

Almost overlooked on the way back from the Eibsee. We then sat on the terrace and initially received a delicious, exclusive greeting from the house. And the food I ordered was also delicious. Very nice operator :-) You can definitely recommend it.

Top gastronomy in understatement style. Very cozy and warm. Reservations recommended! Unfortunately, we live very far away, but will definitely come again!

The restaurant has excellent cuisine. We loved it. The food is excellent, the dessert a poem. A very nondescript restaurant. At first glance, I would say a simple inn. But we were impressed by the new service, the cozy atmosphere and the good food. This restaurant is the best in the Grainau price range.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Gasthaus am Zierwald. The hosts were very friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were nice and nicely furnished. Furthermore, the rooms were very clean and big enough. The food in the inn tasted very good and is highly recommended. We would definitely come back on occasion.

Excellent food! Some of the best you can find in the area. Fantastic steak. Vegetables were great. Beautiful view of the Zugspitze. Vwry authentic. But it closes early for dinner so be sure to arrive early or call first.

Gastfreundlichkeit at its best. Many thanks to Familie Hagenmayer for making us feel at home in our fabulous Suite with balcony. Superclean and comfy, one of 5 guestsuites in house. Wake up to snowladen Zugspitze just outside the Breakfast room. Dinner comparable to the finer restaurants anywhere, both traditional and creative cuisine without the ostentatious pricetags. A must return to, we will be back

The food was terrific and definitely deserves 5 stars. In addition, you have a wonderful view of the Zugspitze outside. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely not be there for the last time. :)

A wonderful guesthouse, run by a lovely family, with a great restaurant. They make you feel like part of their family.

So conveniently located in Grainau, moments from the Eibsee, the gondola and fabulous hiking. Excellent chef on site for dinner...no need to go anywhere else!

Cozy restaurant with very tasty local cuisine. Friendly price

We stayed here for two nights in May 2014. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The home is a perfect example of Bavarian. Our rooms was quite lovely with a porch outside the French door. We enjoyed two delicious breakfasts as well as a delicious dinner on our first night. We plan to return next year.
